Animals have always been a huge part of Doreen’s life. She has always lived with them as friends, confidants and constant companions. As a lonely 7 year old she saved up and bought her very first dog from an African for 50cents (no extra charge for all the fleas that came with him!).

She has loved and trained dogs ever since. Her first Obedience trained dog, a Fox Terrier called Streaker, went right up to the highest obedience level –“C Test”, and is probably still the only Foxie ever to have done so, in South Africa.

She is currently training two Boston Terriers for agility competitions. The elder of the two, Yoda, has reached the top class in Dog Jumping,Contact and Non - Contact Agility, ( the first Boston in S.A. to do this )as well as being a South African Champion in the Breed ring.

She has bred and showed Boston Terriers for 30 years.

“Becoming a TTouch Practitioner is like a wonderful gift I have been given to enable me to help and benefit animals in need, in honour of all those special animals who have been such a large part of my life and learning.TTouch is the most respectful, gentle method of teaching animals to behave in the manner that is expected of them in a human society, that I have come across.

Doreen offers : TTouch consultations
