Bodies in Balance is a small dog training school at a safe, secure, private property situated in Bryanston, Sandton, specializing in Clicker Training at all levels.
We believe whole-heartedly in positive reinforcement, and all our training is done with the aim of helping to balance - without fear or pain - the mind, body and emotions of all dogs attending classes. We offer a variety of classes as well as individual one on one sessions, either at our school or at a venue of your choice.
Dogs and Owners are here to have fun and learn at the same time, giving the dogs the option to think and allowing them the liberty of making their own decisions, which grows confidence.
Small classes with 2 qualified instructors in each class assuring you of personal attention.
The classes are run by Niki & Kay

WHAT SOME OF OUR HANDLERS SAY:
Question: What did you learn in class that was of the most benefit to you and your puppy?
Irma Wouters. I learn't to think what I want instead of just focusing on what is not happening. My puppies went a long way to overcoming fear of small spaces at class, general "how to walk a dog" skills, both the dog & I must be having fun for lots of learning to take place. It has definitely been my best dog training experience & I would glady recommend it to anyone.
Sarahan Brophy. The focus exercises and the interaction with other dogs and how to deal with conflict. I am completely satisfied with the clasess, I wish we could come more often, but when we do we thoroughly enjoy the classes. Thank you so much both of you, your effort, professional approach and relaxed environment is wonderful!
Amber Mennegeke. Teaching my dog to focus better. I am very pleased that my vet referred me to the puppy classes, as I'm sure that my dog would have been next to impossible to handle otherwise. We both so look forward to our weekly session.
Aimee McCabe: Positive reinforcement is a far better route than what I've traditionally been taught about puppy training. I also enjoy the fact that as an owner the best thing I can do for my puppy is to remain calm - there is no pressure in the training, just ongoing support. Thanks!
Sandra Pedegana: I received one on one Personal treatment with coaches who really were interested in me & my pets. I would highly recommend Niki & Kay to anybody with a puppy or in fact any dog needing training.
Cheryl Durham: Patience, positive reinforcement excellent training method!; how to have fun in training one of my best friends. Thanks Niki & Kay, Tina & I have had a lot of fun over the past year!
Heather Chiddick: General info regarding the personality type of my jack russel. Which helped me work with him rather than get frustrated.
Lindy Dekker: Learning to let him go and have fun with other dogs and not worry about him misbehaving. |
